Julia's diverse 25-year career in photography and journalism has taken her around the world and back several times. However, capturing New Zealand's natural beauty and people in still and moving images, remains her passion.
In the challenge of location photography for corporate, marketing and magazine sectors she always leaves room for genuine character, personality and spontaneity - those qualities that set one image apart from the ordinary.
"Photographs can capture the essence of life, all its variety, uniqueness and drama" she says. "Sharing time in peoples' lives is a privilege and I am delighted to have that perspective appreciated through my photographs."
