What is a Lightbox?
A Lightbox is a facility you can use to save images that have caught your eye while searching our database. Your lightbox (or lightboxes if you are using Multiple Lightboxes) is unique to you and no-one else can view it unless you email it to them or give them your login details.

Images added to a lightbox will remain there until you delete them or until you delete the lightbox. So you can safely leave our site and come back another day and your lightbox(es) will still be there.

Note: You are under no obligation to purchase images which you have added to your lightbox

How to add images to your Lightbox
If you see an image you like while searching our site, add it to your Lightbox by clicking on 'Add to Lightbox'

How to see what's in your Lightbox
You will see your Active Lightbox in the left have navigation bar, which tells you the name of your currently Active Lightbox and how many images are in it.

You can view the images you have added to this Lightbox by clicking on the link beneath the drop-don box.

Removing images from you lightbox
Delete images from your lightbox which may no longer be required for consideration by clicking on 'Remove from lightbox'

Using Multiple Lightboxes
When you use our site for the first time, you are assigned a default lightbox called "My Lightbox".

When you search, if you add images to your lightbox, they will be added to this Lightbox. However, there may be times when you'd like to add images to different lightboxes, perhaps for different projects you are working on, different subjects within a project or for different clients.

Using the Lightbox Manager in the left-hand navigation bar, you are able to create new lightboxes and then add images to each lightbox as you search (remember to change your Active Lightbox using the drop-down box in the left-hand navigation bar so that you add images to the correct lightbox)

Requesting a Quote
Once you have decided upon the images you are interested in using and have added them to a lightbox, you can then add them to your quote request by clicking on the check-box called "Add to quote".

When you have checked the images you'd like to use, then click on the 'Complete Quote Request' link to complete your usage, scan requirements and contact details.

Note: Requesting a quote does NOT commit you to purchasing images.

When we receive your request for quote we will contact you to confirm your usage and to provide you with a firm quote for that specific use.

Remember, we do not supply original film. We will supply you with comp images/placement scans almost immediately (depending upon our hours of operation compared to where you are in the world!) and we will follow up with high resolution 300dpi RGB scans within 24 hours. Once you have accepted our quote and agreed to scanning, you are committed to the purchase and will be billed accordingly.

What are comp images?
Comp images are low-resolution images (but higher resolution than the web resolution images which appear on this site) which we supply to clients free of charge for use in layouts and designs prior to committing to purchase.

If you are a regular client and have an active credit account with us, you are able to download non-watermarked comp images directly from the large view window for each image (Click on the Download Comp Image icon)

Other visitors to our site can order watermarked comp images from the Quote Request page.

Comp images may only be used for layouts and presentations and not for commercial use. Any attempt to use comp images for commercial gain without prior permission from us and the issue of a rights licence, will constitute a copyright infringement. All copyright infringements will be prosecuted to the fullest extent possible under international copyright law.
